Per My original thread about the issue here:

    1) EVERY time updates are made in WordPress in general, TweetWheel needs to be deactivated and then reactivated to show that an update is not available. Is this a possibility for a security issue?

    2) TweetWheel Pro has not been updated in SEVERAL months… Is this a possibility for a security issue?

I checked and My license is active.

    Thank you!

Thanks for your message. What Tweet Wheel version are you on, please? We have released numerous updates over past several months so the alert would indicate the new update is available.

    Thank you

You attempted to install a second instance of the plugin, hence you received an error saying “The plugin is already installed”.

To update the plugin manually you have to either:

    1) Remove the existing copy of the plugin and then install a new one (make sure “Keep plugin data” is checked in the settings).
    2) Use your FTP to replace plugin’s folder entirely.

    Hello, Tomasz,

    Apologies for the delayed response.

We followed your instructions and so far, so good. Thank you so much!

Hopefully, the notifications for updates will work in the future. If not, I will try this process.

    Thanx again!
