Hi. I had originally posted this on the support forum on the plugin page on WordPress.org, but I guess this is the better place to get assistance.

    —————-

Hi. I need line breaks in my tweets. I havenโ€™t sent out any tweets, but when adding a tweet template via the Edit Post page and updating the post, the line breaks I included disappear.

Is there any way to have the tweets sent exactly the way they were input, complete with line breaks?

    Thank you.

    Hey!

    Thanks for your message.

Unfortunately, Tweet Wheel templates don’t support templates. I will pass this onto our developer and see if it’s possible to add them in.

    It’s a great idea, though!

Any questions, let me know ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi. Thank you for considering adding the feature and for your time responding. I really hope it can be added soon because I require line breaks in tweets for my purposes and unfortunately if they are not supported then I will not be able to use this awesome-looking plugin.

If anyone has any ideas for workarounds, I’m all ears!

    Hi there,

    No worries!

We will be releasing an update to the plugin soon anyway, so will see if we can throw that in. It just makes sense ๐Ÿ™‚

I should have an update for you by the end of this week.

    Thank you!

Hi. I wonder if there has been any progress?
I understand that you must be busy but you said that you expected to have an update by the end of the week when we last spoke over a month ago.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

I’m sorry for the delay. I was pretty sure I replied a few days ago!

It turned out to be more difficult than we expected as it’s related to a library we use for tweet template form fields and how Twitter handles line breaks. We’ll do our best to implement this feature as soon as we can.

    Watch this space!
